Client Reviews & Testimonials

I highly recommend this company! They did an amazing job redoing our basement after we had a pipe break. They installed new hardwood floors and repaired the walls and ceilings, and everything turned out beautifully.

They also redid the stone around our fire pit after another company had done a poor job on it, and the difference is incredible. We are so happy with how everything turned out!

Everyone who worked at our home was incredibly nice, professional, and respectful. Another thing that really stood out to us was how wonderful they were with our dogs. That meant a lot to us and made the whole experience even better.

It’s not always easy having people working in your home, especially for a larger project, but they made the entire process a positive experience. They were friendly, respectful of our home, did quality work, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We would absolutely recommend them!

Finished a deck modification and stamped patio project today 11/17/25. They were here when they said they would be and finished on time. The crews were efficient and professional. The finished job is first class. The price was right and Mike was great to work with.

From my initial call to “Mr ImproveIt” to the final walk through was nothing but positive. Mike came out for an initial quote and spent almost an hour with my wife and I sharing thoughts and ideas. He also assisted with color suggestions and stamping designs. But, when his crew showed up the transformation was amazing. The team was so detailed and neat with all of their tasks. They were open to discussions and asked our opinion several times before making any changes. Our driveway and yard looked untouched, considering the machinery and foot traffic need to complete the job. In and out in a day and a half! Fantastic experience and we couldn’t be happier with the finished project. The perfect patio for a hot tub arriving any day now.

I worked with Mike for concrete work on my parent's driveway and sidewalk. From the beginning, Mike was awesome. He does the like things right by answering his phone and had quick answers with pricing. He also was more than half the price of two local competitors in Olathe that pop right up in Google. He did an awesome job and kept his schedule. I'd definitely choose to work with him again and you should too! Thank you.

Mike (Mr. Improven) was very helpful in facilitating our garage floor demo and replacement, making sure we were aware of additional planning and storage needs and working around other previously planned projects. The floor did get pushed a few days due to rain and we were willing to oblige. The crew arrived prepared and completed it in one day. Everything worked out just as we needed and the garage floor looks wonderful.

I felt very comfortable with Mr. Improve-It’s support. Initially, he stood out because he listened to what we were planning, and was able to reiterate the whole story to the team lead that came in the following day. That was an enthusiasm that was very much appreciated. His team was efficient, and exceedingly hard-working. He was able to bring in Plumber support that was outstanding. The final product is absolutely exceptional. They started, and finished within schedule, and constantly told me if they were going to be coming in the next day. This helped me plan things. I will continue to work with him in the future.

Mr Improve It (Mike) was great to deal with from beginning to end. They installed several new windows and went out of their way to fix several window issues due to old windows being replaced. The installers were very professional and did a great job. I'm thrilled with my new windows and highly recommend them to anyone needing remodeling or window replacement.

We have contracted with Mr. ImproveIt for two separate bathroom projects and were very pleased with the experience and outcome of both! Mike is a very down-to-earth guy who very much embodies the ideal of a small business owner who provides quality work, personal flexibility, and fair logistics. He has always been willing to work with our schedules for the consultation and project. We even had issues with a factory defect in one of the pieces of the bathroom and he provided replacement & labor free to us. We will definitely be returning to Mr. ImproveIt for any future home improvement needs.

Reply from MrImproveIt: We we are glad you allowed Mr Improveit to work in your home a second time. We look forward to a third time and we will work hard at doing a good Job.

We used Mr.ImproveIt for a new flooring install, bathtub install, new concrete stairs, concrete front porch with railing, concrete patio, as well as other home improvements.  From beginning to end, Mike was highly communicative and engaged us in the project.  He offered his professional perspective and opinions when selecting various options. His crews are punctual, hardworking and take pride in their work.  We had a lot of opinions and feedback throughout the project and Mike and his crew worked hard to make sure we loved the final product. I would recommend Mike for your next project as he is committed to delivering quality results in a timely fashion.

The owner Mike is very nice person and he’s very quick response but unfortunately, the way that he handled work is very unprofessional. A project that was promised that was going to take 10 days or less. Ended up taking five weeks with only one person working. Before we start the project I talk to Mike about the timeline and I explain to him that if it’s going to take more than 10 days I would just hold it off until another time because I have kids at home and school is about to start. When I first met the owner Mike, he was telling me that all the good things about his company and his workers to my surprise I was surprised with only one worker that comes for a couple hours and leave and sometimes the worker does not show up at all.

Reply from MrImproveIt: We had delayed a few days due or customer scheduling of other crews and my contract at bottom says 4 weeks which we did hit that and it took only 2 weeks sorry for the false exceptions but the kitchen completed in the reasonable time period of any kitchen company. Thanks for your input and we are always striving to obtain better cruise and better project management to try to become as efficient as we can and we will always keep working on that in the future We lost two days to rain, and then we lost three days of working on the project because my install person was working on personal projects at the home that had nothing to do with my contract so if we remove five days, we really got things done in a very efficient period of time in less than two weeks I think we did good with the challenges that we had

We used Mike for two large projects. New concrete steps and railings in the front of our house and a new wood deck in back. Both projects turned out beautifully.

Reply from MrImproveIt: This is Mike with Mr Improveit We are glad that we could help you with your two large projects concrete steps railings and a wood deck. Great Job on Concrete Pad installation. On Time, and On Budget!!

Reply from MrImproveIt: Hi William this is Mike with Mr Improveit thank you for allowing us to be part of your concrete pad installation we look forward to helping you in the future and any friends that you have please refer them and we will do a good job for them as well.

When I first reached out to Mike, the owner, he was very quick to respond and schedule my Free estimate. We talked through multiple patio scenario's and budgets. We finally was able to agree on a price and schedule the build. Mike was on top of this the entire time and made sure to start on time and on budget!! The work that was done is so exceptional that some of my neighbors have reached out to Mike for a quote for a patio as well. Mr.Improveit Remodeling will be my Go To for all the work I can't do myself. I would strongly recommend Mr. Improveit to all my friends, neighbors and family.

Fair! Honest! On Time! & On Budget!!!!

Thank You Mike and your crew for making our outside living space a realization vs just a dream....

Reply from MrImproveIt: I am glad that we were part of your project and I look forward to being able to help you and your neighbors in the future and thank you for choosing us.

Let me start by saying i'm not a guy that normally posts reviews, but I was thoroughly impressed with Mike Salazar and his crew. He not only heard our concerns about our bathroom that needed remodeling in a jiffy, but he also recommended improvements to the design that were affordable and respected our financial limitations. Additionally, he was incredibly flexible with our crazy schedules, our sometimes neurotic asks and questions, and working with us to ensure we felt comfortable and assured.

Now all of that would have been enough. His crew was professional, efficient, effective, and their job was solid. However, a part that was ordered for our bathroom (a sort of shower shelf?) started chipping paint not even 5 months after use. We reached out to Mike who ascertained it was basically a faulty product sent to his crew and he took care of it no questions asked.

The man and his team have continued to impress myself and my wife and plan to work with him more in the future. I would highly recommend Mr. Improveit Remodeling for any "handy-man" job.

Reply from MrImproveIt: Thank you for choosing us, we are glad that we were part of your project, we look forward to helping you and your friends in the future and thank you for the video testimony that you gave us as well, we look forward to the future thank you

I had Mr. improvement to Remodel my bathroom to get it updated and for safety reasons. The job was done wonderfully, and in a satisfaction in timely manner. It was done at a cost that I could afford, and the results you're beautiful. I would use them again for any of my Remodelin needs. Thank you for a job well done.
